PSP Recorded A Profit of 35.5 Million HRK in 2010
Podzemno Skladište Plina d.o.o. (PSP d.o.o.), the national gas storage operator, recorded a total income amounting to 157.4 million HRK and a profit of 35.5 million HRK in 2010.
Commenting on the business results in 2010, PSP director Dragica Krpan mentioned that PSP, as the youngest energy company in the gas system of the Republic of Croatia, recorded noteworthy results, which will be reinforced with the upgrading of capacities of the existing plant in Okoli, as well as the planned construction of the new underground gas facility in Grubišno Polje.
In 2010, PSP continued to develop its business operations, and conditions were met for PSP to become one of the rare Croatian companies that is a recipient of three certificates (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001). Furthermore, the upgrading of existing output capacities of underground gas storage in Okoli during 2010, enabled a record delivery of gas of 280000 m3/h at the beginning of February 2011.
The company Podzemno Skladište Plina d.o.o. (PSP) was created with the separation of natural gas storage activities from the INA Group at the beginning of 2009. On the basis of a decision by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the company Plinacro d.o.o. for transportation and trade of natural gas on May 1, 2009 bought from INA the company Podzemno Skladište Plina d.o.o., by which the Republic of Croatia gained 100 percent ownership of PSP.
